Description

Rose Farm Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of dressed coursed rubble and has a pantile roof. The building features two stone gable stacks, stone coped gables, and kneelers. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway has a 20th-century glazed door and is framed by a stone architrave surround that includes a keystone, frieze, and cornice. On either side of the doorway are single 20th-century glazing bar casements. Above the door, there are two similar casements along with a single central arched glazing bar fixed light that has an ashlar surround and impost mouldings. At the rear, there is a dressed coursed rubble lean-to.
