Description

Habblesthorpe Manor House is a manor house dating from the early 17th century and the 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features gabled and hipped roofs covered with pantiles, which are colourwashed. The building has a plinth, tumbled coped gables, and plain eaves, with a single gable and ridge stacks. The house is two storeys high and has three bays, arranged in an L-plan.

To the east, there is a 19th-century service wing made of brick with a pantile roof and dentillated eaves. This wing is single storey with two bays. The south front of the manor has a projecting bay on the left, which contains a four-light stone mullioned casement with a chamfered reveal and a hood mould. To the right, there is a 20th-century lean-to porch in the return angle with a door, followed by two casements. Above this, on the left, is a three-light mullioned casement and a 20th-century casement on the right.

The east front features two small casements. The service wing's south side has a plank door and a single casement to the left. The east gable has two doors and a single casement to the right, while the west gable has a tiny Yorkshire sash window. On the north side, there is an off-centre half-glazed door, a 20th-century casement to the left, and a close boarded door further left. To the right, there is a tall mullioned casement, and above it, on the right, is another mullioned casement with a hood mould. The west front has a four-light mullioned casement on the left and a single casement above it in a chamfered stone surround.
