Description
Church Farm House, along with an adjoining storehouse and pigeoncote, dates from the late 17th century and 18th century. The buildings are constructed of brick, partly rendered, with some timber framing and pantile roofs. The farmhouse features moulded brick eaves, stepped coped gables, and two gable stacks. It is two storeys high and consists of four bays. The house has an off-centre door with a segmental head, flanked by two 20th-century casement windows, and above are two similar casements. The single-bay storehouse to the left has five breathers and a segmental-headed relieving arch, with two blocked openings above. The pigeoncote, also to the left, includes a single casement window on the left and a stable door with a segmental head on the right. Above the door, there are four tiers of pigeonholes with shelves. At the rear, there is a single-storey, single-bay lean-to store that is timber framed with brick infill.
