Description
Laurel Cottage is an estate cottage built around 1830. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped Welsh slate roof, along with stone-faced porch and dressings. The cottage has a single central ridge stack and is a single storey plus attic, comprising two bays. The central gabled Tudor arched porch has a close boarded and weatherstripped door, which is flanked by two three-light mullioned leaded windows with hood moulds. Above the porch, there are two gabled through eaves dormers that also have similar windows and hood moulds. There is a 20th-century flat-roofed extension at the rear, and a large three-light 20th-century window is located in the west end.
