Description

Lady's Bridge is an ornamental canal bridge located on the Chesterfield Canal, dating from the late 18th century to the 19th century. The bridge is constructed of brick with a rendered finish and features ashlar dressings. It has a single stilted segmental arch, which includes ashlar soffits and mask keystones. The bridge is topped with ashlar coping that supports ornamental 19th-century cast iron railings. The abutments and railing piers are octagonal in shape and are capped with octagonal ashlar.
