Description
Nos. 126 and 128 Bridge Street is a house that has been converted into shops, dating back to 1761. The building is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and has a slate roof. It features a rendered band on the first floor and a brick band on the second floor, topped with a coped parapet and two gable stacks. The windows were replaced in the 19th century. The structure is three storeys high with attics and consists of four bays. The main facade includes two shop fronts from the 19th and 20th centuries. Above the shop fronts, there are four French windows, followed by four plain sash windows, and at the top, there are two gabled dormers with two-light casements and bargeboards. A decorative rainwater head is inscribed with 'F A 1761'.
