Description

A cottage and attached outbuilding dating from the mid-18th century and late 18th century. The building is constructed of red brick, with pantile roofs and dentil eaves. The mid-18th century cottage has a rendered right gable stack and a single red brick and render stack to the front left. The left gable is raised and features brick coping. The cottage is a single storey plus attic, with three bays. A central doorway has a partly glazed door, flanked by single Yorkshire sash windows. All openings are set within segmental arches. A single dormer window is present in the attic, containing a 20th-century glazing bar casement. To the right is a taller outbuilding with a doorway and wooden door, also set within a segmental arch. This building has group value by virtue of its contribution to the character of the surrounding area.
