Description
The Grove is a house that was formerly a rectory, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick, which is rendered and colourwashed, and features a hipped slate roof with three roof stacks. The building has a rendered plinth and moulded wood covers. It is two storeys high and has an L-shaped plan with three windows on the front.
The south front includes a central porch with latticework and a leaded tent roof, which contains a half-glazed door. This porch is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. Above the porch, there are three similar sash windows. On the east front, there is a single glazing bar sash window on the left and a tripartite French window on the right, with three glazing bar sashes above. The other facades feature a mix of 19th and 20th-century window designs.
