Description
Little Morton Farmhouse is a house built in the early 19th century and early 20th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped roof covered with concrete pantiles, along with two brick gable stacks and a wooden moulded cornice. The house is two and a half storeys tall and has three bays.
The central doorway has been altered and includes a half-glazed door with a segmental overlight and a wooden surround. This is further enhanced by a pair of piers with extended capitals that support a slightly projecting hood. On either side of the doorway are modern canted bay windows made of ashlar, which have ashlar parapets.
On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows set under segmental arches, with three smaller similar sashes above, also under segmental arches. To the right of the main structure, there is a single-storey, single-bay extension made of brick from the 20th century, along with two and a half and two-storey extensions at the rear.
