Description

High Brecks Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick with a rendered base. It features a hipped pantile roof that projects over the eaves and has two outer red brick chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, arranged in an L-plan. The front has three sash windows, with three pointed arched casements above that include Gothick glazing bars.

To the left, there is a single-storey, single-bay wing that is set back and also has a hipped pantile roof. This wing includes a doorway with a 20th-century part-glazed door, which has marginal lights and overlights. The east front consists of four bays and has a right gable stack. It features a single sash window, and to the right, there is a panelled and part-glazed door flanked by single pilasters with an entablature. Further to the right is a 20th-century doorway under a segmental arch, and on the far right, there is a single glazing bar casement. Above the stair, there is a single pointed arched casement with Gothick glazing bars, and to the right of this, another single glazing bar casement with Gothick glazing bars is present.

Attached to the right of the farmhouse is a later 19th-century single-storey outbuilding with nine bays, which has had its openings altered.
