Description
This is a house, likely dating to the early 18th century, although it may have earlier origins, with later 19th-century additions. The house is constructed of coursed rubble, rendered and painted, and has a pantile roof with ashlar coped gables, kneelers, a single brick gable stack, and a single ridge stack positioned over the doorway. It is two storeys high and four bays wide. The front doorway has a plain ashlar surround and a recessed panelled door with a rectangular overlight. To the right of the door is a wooden casement window with two mullions and a single transom, with glazing bars above the transom. To the left are two similar casement windows. All ground floor windows have a slightly projecting hood mould. The upper floor has three casement windows with a single wooden mullion, and a narrow casement window directly above the doorway.
Attached to the rear of the house is a two-storey, five-bay outbuilding dating to the 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and has a pantile roof and a single ridge stack. The outbuilding has a single doorway with a wooden door, a small glazing bar fixed light to its left, a single slatted opening with a glazing bar overlight, a doorway with a wooden door, and a similar slatted opening. The upper floor has three slatted openings.
Projecting from the left side is an 18th-century barn constructed of coursed rubble, painted with ashlar quoins and a pantile roof. It has stone coped gables and kneelers, two doorways with wooden doors, and two slatted openings with glazing bar overlights. A ledge runs along the top of the barn, broken by the openings.
