Description
Field Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick stretchers and pink headers, featuring a blue brick band at the base and a slate roof. The building has two red brick gable stacks and a raised eaves band. It stands two and a half storeys high and consists of three bays. The central doorway has a part-glazed door with an over panel, a ribbed surround, and a slightly projecting hood. On either side of the doorway are single sash windows. Above the door, there is a single central sash window flanked by single 20th-century glazing bar casements in their original openings. The upper level features three 20th-century casements also in original openings. The facade includes four round tie plates. To the left of the farmhouse is a single-storey, four-bay outbuilding and garage extension, while the rear of the property has two-storey extensions.
