Description
Dog Kennel Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, built in 1666. It is constructed of brick, partly rendered, and features a plain tile roof. The building has moulded bands at the first floor and eaves, and two gable stacks. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are chamfered ashlar mullioned casements with flat hood moulds. The front of the house has a central door with chamfered ashlar jambs and an overlight, flanked by single casements. Above the door, there is a central 20th-century casement flanked by single mullioned casements. The gables are blank. There is a late 20th-century lean-to addition, which is a single bay, at the east end.
