Description

The cross base at the Church of St. Cornelius, located on the south side of the church, dates from the 14th century and is made of limestone ashlar. It features an abraded square base that holds a square shaft with chamfered corners, which is set in a lead-lined pocket. Only the lower section of the shaft remains, and it is facetted at its base to fit into the socket.
