Description
This warehouse dates to circa 1825. It is constructed of brown brick with a hipped slate roof. The building has a three-storey, five-bay front, with a lower, battered quay wall facing the New River Ancholme. A dentillated eaves course runs along the top of the front elevation. The central entrance door is flanked on the ground and first floors by pairs of small openings with timber shutters. The second floor has a smaller central doorway, also flanked by pairs of similar openings. All the openings are topped with segmental brick arches. Above the topmost doorway is a pulley beam.
