Description
This building is an outhouse located adjacent to and south of the carthouse and stables at the Old Rectory. It dates from the early 18th century and has a red brick construction. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with pantiles, featuring coped and tumbled gables along with a single gable stack on the east side. The structure is single storey with a garret and consists of seven irregular bays.
To the right, there is a doorway leading to the old brewery, which has a segmental head and a plank door. To the left, there is a sliding sash window with a segmental head, as well as a blocked narrow opening with a segmental head beyond it. There are two additional doorways to the left, both with segmental heads; the one furthest left has a plank door. A broader doorway beyond this also has a segmental head and a plank door. Another sliding sash window with a segmental head is located to the left. Notably, the brewery equipment remains intact in the outhouse on the right.
