Description
The Old Rectory is a rectory that has been converted into a house. It was originally remodeled in the early 18th century and later updated in the late 18th century and 19th century. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick and features slate roofs with coped gables, three gable stacks, and a small raking dormer with a sliding sash window. It has a T-shaped plan and consists of two storeys plus an attic, with a four-bay south front.
On the left side, there is a doorway with double glazed doors, which is sheltered by a lean-to conservatory supported by six fluted Ionic pilasters. This conservatory has two glazed doors alternating with fixed glazed panels. To the right, behind an open glazed lean-to verandah, is a single glazing bar sash window. Above, there are four original glazing bar sashes. There is also a doorway on the north side of the building. Inside, there is a panelled room featuring giant order fluted pilasters that frame the fireplace.
