Description
Willow Tree Farmhouse and Barn is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond of three and features a pantile roof with a single axial brick stack. The building has a lobby entry plan and stands two storeys high, originally presenting a three-bay front. It has a dog tooth eaves course and an off-centre doorway, which is now blocked, flanked by two modern three-light casement windows. On the first floor, there are two similar windows and a Yorkshire fire insurance plaque dated 1824, depicting York Minster. Attached to the right side of the farmhouse is a small barn that has full-height double doors and a clasped purlin roof.
