Description
Fulnetby House is a farmhouse that has been divided into two dwellings. It dates from the 16th century, with significant rebuilding in the 17th century and early 19th century. The structure is made of coursed squared limestone rubble and brick, with the front rendered. It features a pantile roof with a single large axial brick ridge stack and has a T-plan layout. The building is two stories high with a garret and has an irregular five-bay front, highlighted by an advanced central entry bay with a plinth.
The central entrance features an early 19th-century six-panel door with an overlight, which includes a possibly reused four-centred arched head supported by rolled corbels and a moulded hood above. This door is flanked by pairs of glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows, along with two 20th-century plain casements to the right. The porch displays fine large quoins that are visible where the render has fallen away.
On the left-hand gable elevation, there is a four-centred arched stone fireplace, which appears to be in situ but is blocked; above it is a brick relieving arch. This indicates that at least one bay has been removed from this end of the building.
