Description
Corner House is a house built around 1830, with a 20th-century extension to the right. It is constructed of yellow brick with red brick dressings and features a hipped slate roof that has two ridge stacks and a single wall stack. The building has a two-storey, three-bay facade with a red brick plinth and a raised eaves band, along with overhanging eaves that have a roll moulded cornice.
In the center of the front facade, there is a tall semi-circular headed six-pane stair window at mezzanine level. On either side of this window, there are single glazing bar sashes at both ground floor and first floor levels, each with segmental red brick splayed arches. The entrance porch is located on the left side of the front and features a flat roof with a bracketed cornice, a six flush panelled door, and a bordered overlight. Inside, there is a moulded elliptical arch that leads from the entrance hall to the stair hall.
