Description

Oxgangs Farm House is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with some minor alterations and additions made in the 20th century. The structure is made of coursed ironstone rubble, featuring red brick quoins and dressings. It has a concrete tiled roof with stone coped gables and kneelers, and an axial brick ridge stack. The building has a T-plan layout and a lobby entry. The front is two storeys high with three bays, featuring a central 20th-century glazed door flanked by two 18th-century glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there is a central blank opening flanked by two Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars. All openings are topped with segmental brick arches.
