Description

Swallow Vale Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse, dating from around 1825. It is built from cream brick and features a concrete tiled roof with gable stacks. The building is two stories high and has a three-bay front that was modified in the 19th century. The central doorway has a moulded doorcase, a three-light rectangular overlight, and a six-panelled door. On either side of the doorway, there are single glazing bar sash windows, with three smaller windows above, all of which have splayed, painted brick lintels. The rear of the farmhouse retains late 18th-century fabric, although it has 20th-century windows.
