Description

The horse gin at Swallow Grange, built in 1825 for the Earl of Yarborough's estate, is a Grade II listed structure. It is constructed from white brick with white brick dressings and features a slate roof with lead ridges. The building has dentilated brick eaves and a hexagonal plan, consisting of a single storey.

The west face includes a segment arched doorway set within a double arched surround. The other sides alternate between blank sections and single segment arched windows. Each window is designed with four small fixed lights above and a sliding shuttered ventilator below.
