Description

Thorpe Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with mid-19th century and 20th century alterations. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a grey pantile roof with gable stacks. The crow-step gables are damaged, and the coping has been removed. The building is two stories high with a three-bay front. The central doorway is framed by a 20th century gabled wooden porch that has a pantile roof and a partially glazed panelled door. To the left of the doorway is a large, splayed 19th century bay window with glazing bars, while to the right is a sash window with a segmental head, also featuring glazing bars. Above, there are three additional glazing bar sash windows.
