Description

Church Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse with a 19th-century addition. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings, and has a pantiled roof, raised stone coped gables with kneelers, and two brick gable stacks. The front facade is five bays and two storeys high. A central six-panelled door with a three-paned overlight, set within a wooden surround with a narrow hood supported by scrolled brackets, is contained within an advanced brick entry bay. This is flanked by pairs of glazing bar sashes. The first floor has five similar glazing bar sashes. All windows have brick segmental heads and relatively thick glazing bars, which are likely original.
