Description

Corner Farm House is a 17th-century farm house with a 19th-century alteration. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins, and has a pantile roof with stone-coped gables and an off-centre brick ridge stack on a stone base. The two-storey, three-bay facade features a panelled and half-glazed door with a four-centre arch and cornice above. To the right of the door are two three-light cavetto mullioned windows with cornices. Above these are two 19th-century three-light windows with timber mullions and lintels. Further mullioned windows are present in the right-hand gable and to the rear of the building. The interior contains one 17th-century stone fireplace with a four-centre arched lintel, and a stopped beam with run-out stops.
