Description

A 16th-century farmhouse, significantly remodelled in the 19th century and with a later 19th-century addition. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, and has slate roofs with reused stone coped gables and two ashlar gable stacks with moulded cornices. The main two-storey, three-bay front has a central glazed door with an overlight, and is flanked by single four-light windows. Above are three three-light windows. A four-light window is visible on the side front to the ground floor, and two three-light windows above. All windows have chamfered mullions with moulded surrounds and hoods. The rear wall features four closely set ashlar shafts with a continuous moulded cornice. A single-storey outbuilding with a pantile roof, a single brick ridge stack, and a blocked doorway extends to the rear.
