Description
Fryers' Callis is a 1-storey building dated 1833, designed by architect George Basevi. It features a "Perpendicular" style, constructed from coursed stone with a stone slate roof and has both paired and single stone stacks. The building has a parapet with four crenellations, each supported by a buttress below. There are three gables topped with finials, and former doorways that have been converted into windows under the gables. These windows have 4-centred heads with carved spandrels and are flanked by rectangular-headed windows with four lights, all adorned with moulded labels. The building accommodates six dwellings. Additionally, there are two gate piers, each with panels featuring cusped lancet heads and pyramidal caps.
