Description
Grange Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1847. It is constructed from coursed and squared limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a Collyweston slate roof with two gable ashlar stacks that have cornices. The building has a T-plan and is two storeys high with a four-bay front. The entrance is off-centre and consists of a planked door, which is sheltered by a steeply pitched gabled porch that has a pointed ashlar opening and stepped side buttresses. The gable displays a panel inscribed with "BB" for Brownlow. On either side of the porch are single narrow lights, and to the right is a three-light casement window. On the first floor, there is a gabled two-light casement window, which features the date 1847 in the gable. This building is included for its group value only.
