Description

This is a late 18th-century house, altered and extended in 1820. It is constructed of coursed and banded limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a concrete tiled roof with two gable and one ridge yellow brick stacks. The two-storey, four-bay front features a left-hand bay added in 1820. The front entrance is an off-centre six-panel door with a plain fanlight, a semi-circular head, and a keystone inscribed with “WWR 1820”. To the right of the door is a pair of plain sash windows. To the left is a tripartite glazing bar sash window. On the first floor are four plain sash windows, all set within ashlar surrounds with flat lintels and stepped keystones.
