Description

Nos 2 to 5 Station Road is a row of four cottages built around 1850 for the Great Northern Railway. The cottages are constructed of red brick and feature a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and two brick stacks. They have a chamfered plinth and a two-storey, four-bay front. The central two doorways are flanked by two boarded sash windows, with single doorways beyond, all having painted wedge lintels. Above, there are four additional boarded sash windows, also with painted wedge lintels.
