Description

No. 8 Station Road is a house built in the late 19th century for the Great Northern Railway. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and two wall stacks. The building has a chamfered plinth, ground floor impost, and first floor cill bands, along with bracketed eaves.

The front of the house is two storeys high and has five bays. The central doorway is topped with an overlight and is flanked by pairs of plain sash windows, all of which have segment heads and brick keystones. Above the doorway, there is a central plain sash window, which is also flanked by pairs of sashes that feature shallow segmental heads.
