Description
Nos 6 and 7 Station Road are a pair of cottages built around 1850 for the Great Northern Railway. They are constructed of red brick and feature a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and a single central chimney stack. The cottages are two storeys high and have a four-bay front. Each bay contains a glazing bar sash window with painted segment brick heads that include keystones. Above these windows, there are four similar windows with matching heads. Each cottage has a central doorway on the front, which features a panel door and overlight beneath a segment head, with a single glazing bar sash window above, also with a similar head. Number 6 has a set-back addition to the left, which includes a single glazing bar sash window on each floor.
