Description

This is a threshing barn located to the northeast of Number 47, dating from the mid-18th century, with some minor alterations made in the 20th century. The barn is constructed from coursed local limestone rubble, featuring ashlar dressings, a concrete tile roof, and coped ashlar gables. The street-facing side has a large central cart entrance with double plank doors set in a segmental arched flush ashlar surround. There are two triangular breathers on either side of the entrance, and a loft doorway to the right with a plank door beneath a segmental head. The rear side also has a similar central cart entrance, along with an additional loft doorway to the right.
