Description

This pair of cottages, located 15 metres west of the Malting House, dates from the late 18th century and was altered in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed squared stone with brick dressings and feature a pantile roof with a reduced central brick ridge stack. The cottages have a rubble plinth and quoins. They are two storeys high and have a four-window range of 2-light sliding sashes. Below, there are two similar sashes with glazing bars, flanked by single board doors, and to the left, there is a similar window. All these openings have segmental heads. The right gable has been rebuilt in brick.
