Description
This is a group of six coffin-shaped chest tombs located 30 meters east of the Church of St Peter and St Paul in Belton. They date from the early to mid-18th century and are made of limestone. The tombs feature gabled and segmental arched lids, with cherubs at the head end of most tombs. The southernmost tomb has reeding instead of a cherub. At the time of the survey, the tombs were largely covered with ivy.
