Description

This is a table tomb located 2 metres south of the chancel at the Church of All Saints, dating from the early 18th century. It is made of slate and features a coffin-shaped slab with a rounded top resting on plain pedestals. The tomb bears an inscription for Elizabeth Mason, who died in 1704, and John Mason, who died in 1733. Additionally, there is graffiti of shoes present on the tomb. Slate is an unusual material for a monument of this type.
