Description

59 Double Street is an 18th-century building featuring two storeys and attics constructed of brick. It has two dormers and a wooden eaves cornice. The façade includes three windows with red brick flat arches and no glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two windows and a door case adorned with an open pediment and grooved pilasters. The door consists of six fielded panels with panelled reveals, and there is a segmental fanlight above, which now contains stained glass. A foot scraper is also present. This building, along with Nos 57 and 58, forms a group, with Nos 57 and 58 being of local interest.
