Description

This is a house, originally a single dwelling, now divided into two separate houses. It dates to the 17th century, with significant alterations and additions in the mid-18th century, the mid-19th century, and the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick and some limestone rubble, set upon 17th-century rubble foundations. It has a collyweston tiled roof, raised in the mid-19th century, with brick coped gables and two ridge stacks. The front has two storeys and an attic, and is six bays wide. The two central doorways have overlights and 20th-century doors. There are two plain sash windows on either side of the doorways. Above, there are four plain sash windows, with a single blocked opening above each doorway. A large central gabled dormer contains a pair of plain sashes.
