Description
Glebe Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse that has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is built from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and features a slate roof with a yellow Ewerby brick dentillated eaves course and gable stacks. The building has an L-plan layout and is two storeys high with a three-bay front. It has a plinth and a central half-glazed door, which is flanked by single three-light mullioned and transomed 19th-century casement windows. On the first floor, there are single similar windows on either side of a matching two-light window. All openings have splayed segmental stone heads. On the left-hand side of the front, there is a brass Sun Insurance plaque.
