Description
Manor House with attached walls and railings, built in the mid-18th century and remodelled in the early 19th century. The house is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof, ashlar moulded gable stacks, and ashlar coped gables and parapet. It has flush ashlar quoins and a chamfered plinth. The building is two storeys plus attics and has an east front with five bays. The central doorway has a four-panel door and overlight, and is flanked by a projecting ashlar porch with Doric columns supporting a flat hood. On either side of the porch are two tall sash windows, each with a pair of plain sashes beneath ashlar lintels. Above are five similar windows, and above again are three gabled, through-parapet dormer windows with bargeboards and two-light casements. On either side of the porch are low brick walls with ashlar coping and cast iron spearhead railings.
