Description

The dovecote at Dovecote House, formerly known as the dovecote at the Gables, is a 17th-century structure used for housing pigeons. It is built from coursed rubble and brick, topped with a pantile roof. The walls are made of coursed rubble with dressed stone grains, and the gables are brick. There is a single low doorway on the east side, featuring a chamfered four-centred arch. The south gable includes pigeonholes, while the north gable has a fixed light.
