Description

Cross base dating from the 14th century, made of limestone ashlar. It features a square base block with carved beasts at the corners, and the side panels are adorned with the Symbols of the Evangelists in deep relief. Above the base is a tapering square shaft that connects to the base through stop-chamfered edges. This structure is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument No 79.
