Description
The former stable and trap house at Fieldby House, now used as a garage, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble with yellow brick and ashlar dressings, topped by a pantiled roof. The building has a single-storey, two-bay front featuring a red brick dentillated eaves course. On the right side, there is a pair of planked doors beneath a timber lintel, while on the left, a fixed louvered window with a segmental brick head is present. Additionally, the right gable has a blocked first-floor doorway that once led to a hayloft, and above it, there is a blocked triangular pigeon flight hole.
