Description
The Star and Garter Public House is an early 19th-century building constructed from coursed rubble. It features a slate hipped roof with three brick chimney stacks and a wooden bracketed eaves cornice. The entrance is off-centre, framed by a wooden pilaster surround, and includes a six-fielded panel door with a rectangular overlight above. The façade has four glazing bar sash windows with segment-headed lintels that have keystones, along with a single glazing bar sash window beneath a flat head. Above, there are three more glazing bar sash windows under flat heads with keystones, as well as a single blocked opening.
