Description

No. 46 High Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is built of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a pantile ridge roof that has a single gable and a single ridge stack made of red brick. The building has quoins and is two storeys high. The off-centre doorway is fitted with a 19th-century plank door, and there are single casement windows on either side, which have red brick voussoirs above them. To the north, there is a 20th-century glazed door with a 20th-century glazed porch. Above the doorway, there are four casements located at the eaves.
