Description
Glebe House is a house dating from the 18th century, with additions from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed rubble, partially rendered, with ashlar dressings. The roof is made of pantiles and is divided into two sections, featuring three red brick chimneys.
The building is two stories high. On the street facade, there is a single sliding casement window on the ground floor and another above, with rendered extensions on both the east and west sides. The garden facade has a central three-bay section, where three-light casement windows are placed under stone lintels on either side of the doorway. The doorcase is adorned with pilasters and an entablature. Above this, there are three casement windows with wooden lintels; the central window is a two-light, while the others are three-light.
To the west, there is an early 19th-century rendered extension that features a single bay with two-light sliding casements both above and below, along with a modern glazed door. To the east, there is a lower two-story wing that includes a projecting 20th-century extension with modern sliding casements and glazed double doors.
