Description
This is a late 18th-century coach house situated at Coleby Hall. It is constructed of ashlar and has hipped pantile roofs. The central two-storey section features two round-headed carriage doorways with impost and first-floor bands. Above the doorways are two flush sash windows with glazing bars, set within flat arches. A wooden cupola tops the roof, complete with a ball finial and a wrought iron weather vane. Slightly projecting single-storey side wings contain attics, and each wing has two round-arched flush sash windows with glazing bars. A central door in each wing has a semi-circular fanlight with radiating glazing bars, while two segmentally roofed sliding casement dormers provide attic access.
