Description
21, 22, and 23 Silver Street are three houses that have been converted into a shop. They were built in the early 19th century, altered in the mid-19th century, and raised in the late 19th century. The buildings are constructed of brick, with a rendered second floor and slate roofs, featuring single ridge and gable stacks. They have first and second floor sill bands and a stepped coped east gable. The structure is three storeys high and has three bays, situated on a corner site with a curved south front. The shopfront, which spans the full width of the building, is corniced and wooden, dating from the mid-19th century, and includes an off-centre door with an overlight in a pilastered surround. Most windows feature decorative spandrels that form round heads, while above them are three altered segment-headed glazing bar sashes, and above those are four plain sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
