Description

This is a 14th-century cross shaft located 9 metres south of the nave of the Church of St. Mary in Wainfleet St. Mary. It is made of limestone ashlar and features an octagonal shape, standing approximately 1 metre high. The shaft has broached stops at ground level and tapers towards the top.
